Kansas City Chiefs State They Are Aware of Domestic Violence Allegations Connected to Player the Athlete
The NFL franchise issued a statement Wednesday night indicating they have knowledge of claims of abuse circulated in online accounts by a former girlfriend of wide receiver Rashee Rice and had been in contact with the league office.
The organization omitted the name of Rice specifically in their announcement and said they would have âno further comment at this timeâ.

The woman, who likewise did not name Rice directly, posted a series of photos on social media that seemed to depict signs of physical abuse. Jones stated the individual in question was the father of her children, and reports indicate she has kids with the football player, whom the Chiefs selected in the second round.

Rice's Recent Legal Issues
Rice missed the first six games of this season due to an league-mandated ban for his involvement in instigating a crash on a Texas roadway that resulted in multiple people hurt. Rice was given a month of incarceration and five yearsâ probation after entering a guilty plea to serious offenses.
